Hunter Ryan Herdlicka: "I Happen To Like New York"

Currently starring opposite Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch in the Tony Nominated Broadway revival ?A Little Night Music?, Dallas native, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, returns to Feinstein?s at Loew?s Regency with his triumphant concert, ?I Happen To Like New York?, following a sold out engagement in June. The evening, which features classic theater songs by Tony Award Winning composers Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, and Cole Porter, is co-presented by rj productions and features music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell ("Addams Family", "Company", Kristin Chenoweth) and directed by Diana Basmajian (Off-Broadway?s Limonade Tous Le Jours).
Following graduation in May 2009 from the prestigious Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, , Hunter arrived in New York City and attended his very first audition. After his callback, attended by director Trevor Nunn and Stephen Sondheim, he landed the coveted role of Henrik Egerman in the long running theatrical masterpiece, "A Little Night Music".
Hunter has appeared in concerts and regional productions across the country. A classically trained actor, he has performed with the Utah Shakespearean Festival and had the unique experience of appearing in six leading roles with the West Virginia Public Theatre. Hunter has starred in Broadway Backwards 5 at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater (alongside Florence Henderson, Lea Salonga, Mario Cantone and countless others), which benefited Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids and has performed at Joe's Pub, Birdland, The Laurie Beechman Theater, and many other NYC clubs. This fall, he joined theatrical luminaries in a special evening benefitting The Actors Fund at Gloria Swanson's Estate in Englewood.
