He grew from a little kid in Brooklyn who used humor to defend himself against bullies to one of this country's most repsected performers and officiatting member of the legendary Friars Club. Stewie Stone loves to make people laugh - and make them laugh he does.

Stone, a popular headliner in Vegas, travels the world performing in the world's most prestigiuos venues working with thr top names in entertainment. Among the stars in Stone's nightclub, concert and cabaret orbit are such luminaries as Paul Anka, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Shirley Bassey, Steve & Edie, Englebert Humperdink and Sonny & Cher.

His entry into the world of entertainment was not as a comic however, but as a drummer playing with band in New York. to supplement his weekend income as a drummer,Stone entertained guests with comedy routines on weekedays at the famed Concord Hotel in the Catskills.

Stone's Catskills gig eventually led him to an invitation to performfor the Playboy Clubs. For three years, Stone spent 30-40 weeks on the road, performing for Playboy Clubs across the country and in London.

He then spent four years touring with Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons. During this time, Stone played virtually every nightclub in the States, including the Copa in New York. Mr. Kelly's in Chicago and Pittsburgh's Holiday House.

In Las Vegas, Stone hit the Jackpot. It was there that he earned the reputation of being one of the best in the business as he performed with the entertainment world's biggest stars.

That reputation faciltiated Stone's induction into the renowned Friars Club where he holds the esteemed postions of Vice President and Chairman of the Activites and Entertainment Committee. Realizing that the hilarious antics and humor of the Friars Club should be shared by all, led Stone to take the best parts of the Club to entertainment venues across the country.

Stone's hit show, the Friar Follies, combines video clips of some of the funniest comics in Friars club history with live performances of today's funniest comics in show business. Hosted by Stone, this show is a combination of yesterday's timeless humor and today's fresh new material.
