The Joe Girard story began in Worcester, Massachusetts, in the mid 40’s. Joe was surrounded by both love and music, having Italian parents who loved popular music, and an uncle who loved semi classical music and opera.

Joe's parents, both Italian, raised him to love music with passion, encouraging him to perform "Sorrento," "O Solo Mio" and other Italian favorites as a child and teenager. Later at the Berklee School of Music, Girard learned and perfected the Sinatra method of breathing--as well as learning from Vic Damone the art of maintaining a perfect pitch while recording and singing live. The training prepared Girard for a lifelong career of recording albums, commercials, touring with dance bands, and entertaining in concert halls and night clubs throughout the United states.

In the early 60’s, popular music was changing and Joe decided to pursue a career in broadcasting and entertainment. Today, as President of JEMI Enterprises, Inc., he consults for entertainment companies but continues his singing career performing all across the country.

Joe has performed most recently in concert halls and clubs across the nation including Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Pike Performing Arts in Indianapolis, Century Theaters in Boca, Palm Beach, and Deerfield Beach. Also, has performed at Italian Festivals including the largest in the country "Festa Italiana" in Milwaukee, as well as, corporate engagements for some of the Fortune 500 Companies.
