Brian Newman has earned his stripes as a man about town. Having honed his craft at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, this Cleveland native has routinely performed standards from the American songbook as a bandleader with some of the most talented performers in New York City at institutions such as The Oak Room, Duane Park and Rose Bar.

Having become the one of the most reputable and dynamic trumpeters in the business, Brian has become Lady Gaga’s go-to player and recently performed with her as a guest soloist at BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend , in addition to being named official trumpet player of The Greg James Show on the BBC.

Described as "brilliant" by Stephen Holden of the New York Times, Brian’s unique mix of new-world punk and old world tastefulness allows him to gracefully toe the line between nouveau chic and classic elegance and add his personal and stylistic touch to every single note .
