FEINSTEIN’S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed “Best of New York” by New York Magazine and “an invaluable New York institution” by The New York Post, will continue the Fall 2011 season with the return engagement of two time Emmy and Tony Award-winning performer BEBE NEUWIRTH from November 15 – 26, in her new show “Stories With Piano #3.” The evening will include songs by Stephen Sondheim, Edith Piaf, Tom Waits, Irving Berlin and Kander & Ebb. She will be joined by Musical director Scott Cady on piano. All shows take place at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

BEBE NEUWIRTH has established herself as a versatile performer on stage, film and television. She won the Tony, Drama Desk and Astaire Awards for the role of “Velma” in the smash hit Broadway revival of Chicago. She also received a Tony Award for her role as “Nickie” in Sweet Charity. Her other Broadway credits include Fosse, Damn Yankees, Dancin’, Little Me, and A Chorus Line. In addition, she has performed leading roles in numerous regional theater productions including West Side Story for the Cleveland Opera, the title role in Kiss of the Spiderwoman on London’s West End, The Three Penny Opera at A.C.T., and Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew at Williamstown Theater Festival. She performed a successful run of Here Lies Jenny at the Zipper Theater in New York. Comprised of music by Kurt Weill, the show was created by Leslie Stifelman, Roger Rees, Ann Reinking, and Ms. Neuwirth.

Ms. Neuwirth’s work in film includes How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Liberty Heights, Summer of Sam, Celebrity, Jumanji, Green Card, The Paint Job, Bugsy, and Tadpole, among others. On television she is well known for her role of “Lilith Sternin” on “Cheers” and “Frasier,” for which she won two Emmy Awards. Other television appearances include her Emmy nominated portrayal of Dorothy Parker in “Dash and Lily” as well as a principal player on “Law and Order - Trial by Jury." She is proud to be an Honorary Zeigfeld Girl.
