FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its star-studded Fall 2009 season with Broadway star, KATE BALDWIN on December 13. For her show at Feinstein’s the Finian’s Rainbow star will celebrate the release of her debut album, Let’s See What Happens, devoted to the music and lyrics of Finian’s Rainbow creators Burton Lane and E.Y. Harburg. Selections will include the tender “How Are Things in Glocca Morra?,” a swinging rendition of “Come Back to Me” and the raucous and robust “I Don’t Think I’ll End It All Today.”

For her starring role in the Encores! production of Finian’s Rainbow in the spring of 2009, KATE BALDWIN was hailed by The New York Times as “a discovery ... her rich, pure soprano riding the crests of the melodies with ease,” while Playbill christened her “our next, best, undiscovered musical comedy heroine.” She has also appeared on Broadway in The Full Monty, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Wonderful Town. Regional roles include Betty Haynes in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas in Toronto, San Francisco, and Detroit; Katharine in Henry V at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey; Nellie Forbush in South Pacific (Helen Hayes Award nomination) at Arena Stage; and Amalia in She Loves Me (IRNE nomination) at Huntington Theatre Company and Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Her concert work includes several appearances with Stephen Sondheim, as well as performances with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Portland Symphony Orchestra, and the American Songbook series at Lincoln Center. She is currently featured on two new PS Classics releases: Alphabet City Cycle, by Georgia Stitt and Marcy Heisler, and the world premiere recording of Kitty’s Kisses.
